The LogYurt Cabin was cozy and unique, a fun stay for my family. The beds were really comfortable, and the shower had great water pressure. The only downside was the room felt a bit chilly at first, but once it warmed up, it was nice. the cabin was clean and spacious, providing a charming experience that was different from a typical hotel room.

Cozy atmosphere with rustic decor and engaging owner interactions.
The garden area lacked appeal and needed some care. I found the kettle in the room to be of poor quality, affecting our morning tea. Lastly, the absence of board games in the pub was quite disappointing and missed opportunity for entertainment.

I chose this place for a short transit stay on my way to Scotland, and it exceeded my expectations. The food was a highlight—very tasty and well-prepared, especially at breakfast, which set me up nicely for the day ahead. The room was really well-furnished and cozy, making it a perfect stop before continuing my journey. Plus, it's just a short drive away from some lovely attractions like Lowther Castle and Gardens, which I’d recommend visiting.

I was really looking forward to my stay, but the staff were a complete mess. breakfast was ruined by their inability to serve it on time, not to mention the dingy garden area that made the whole place feel neglected. one would think a welcome treat like me would be a given, but no such luck.

An Amazing Stay with Fantastic Food!
I had a wonderful experience staying here, with everything from the cozy log byre we stayed in to the delicious meals served in the pub. The breakfast was particularly impressive, featuring perfect portions and lovely flavors that truly set the tone for our day of exploring. It was a unique experience sleeping in a log cabin, and I couldn’t have asked for a better view to start my morning. I do wish there were a few more amenities in the garden areas, but overall, it was a great stay.
